Lucille Jeanette Lytle, 83, passed away on August 7, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Alta Hiatt; her husband of 48 years, Bob Lytle; son, Robert Edward Lytle Jr.; sisters, Suzy Pitchford and Berniece Gollard. Lucille is survived by her son, Paul Lytle and his wife, Debbie; daughters, Candy Duggins, Bobbie Browne and her husband, Hamilton, Carol Fuller, and Nancy Strange; sister, Kathryn McDonald; grandchildren, Russell Duggins, Robert Duggins, John Duggins, Sheri Crottie, Johnny Brumlow, Bobby Brumlow, Kathi Duggins, Paul Lytle Jr., Nancy Burdick, Kristi Honeycutt, Jennifer Browne, Scott Burroughs, Courtney Browne-Banet, Cody Lytle, Bradley Burroughs, and Kelsey Strange; thirty-nine great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends. Lucille was a 25 year member of the American Business Women’s Association and lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She was very active for many years with the South Park Baptist Church in Houston and the WMU(Woman’s Missionary Union). Lucille was a bookkeeper throughout her entire life. She also owned and operated Kicker’s Western Wear for nearly 14 years. She was a sharp and astute business woman. For enjoyment, she played bingo and attended auctions. She was always looking for one of the children or grandchildren to go with her. Lucille loved a full house and she was especially delighted when her whole family came together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She never missed sending birthday cards to her children or grand children and after Bob passed away, Lucille felt it was important to always bring her children together to celebrate birthdays to keep the family close. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on Thursday , August 11, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The Funeral Service will take place at Clayton Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
