Obituary of Angela Lynn Stevenson

Angela Lynn Stevenson, 42, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on September 15, 2011. She is preceded in death by her first adopted parents, Elbert and Dorothy Buskirk; and sister, Sandy Hagans. Angie was survived by her second adopted parents, Ed and Kathy Buskirk; biological mother, Jane Henry; her loving husband of 16 years, Steven Stevenson; her 6 year old daughter and light of her life, Isabella Grace Stevenson; brother, Ed Buskirk III and his wife, Kim; sister, Pat Ledet and her husband, Raymond; and a host of many other family and friends. Angie had a very strong faith placing her trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. She was a soloist who sang on the worship team as well as in the choir. She loved working in the children’s ministry side by side with her husband, who really was her best friend. She is known by her adorable daughter, who she was completely devoted to, as “one fabulous mom”. Angie was also known by her close friends as “the fashion lady”. She would often take her friends shopping and teach them how to accessorize. She had an extraordinary ability to make each person feel very special and feel as though they were best friends. Angie lived life to the fullest and always had others in her heart. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Angie will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Pearland, 3005 Pearland Parkway, Pearland, TX 77581 with Pastor Sonny Foraker officiating. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Isabella Stevenson Education Fund in care of Elbert and Kathy Buskirk at Woodforest Bank.
