Obituary of Manuel Castro

Rev. Manuel Castro, age 58, passed away on June 24, 2008 surrounded by his wife and daughter, Jennifer. He is survived by his wife, Maria; six sons, Manuel Jr., Angel, Andre, Isaac, Emanuel, and Samuel Castro; daughters, Jennifer and Sharon Castro; mother, Dominga Rivera de Castro; brother, Miguel Castro; sisters, Marina & her husband Cristobal Mercedes Rivera, Petronila & her husband Juan Ramon Garcia, and Luz Maria & her husband Juan Pelegrin; granddaughter, Eliesha Castro and many other family members and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Mario Castro Rivera. Pastor Manuel was a man of God. His entire life revolved around his church and family and his devotion to the ministry. He was a wonderful, loving father always giving his children lessons in encouragement and inspiration. Manuel established churches and radio stations in New Jersey, Texas, Mexico and Nicaragua to spread the word of the Lord with everyone. He was currently the Pastor of Torre De Oracion and Pastor Rev. Manuel leaves behind a legacy of love for his family and his ministry. Visitation for Manuel will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 6:00 PM at Clayton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Rev. Manuel’s Life will follow at 7:00 PM in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Santos Orlando Marquines Castro will be officiating.
