Obituary of Elaine Hadden

Elaine “Janet” Hadden, 81, passed away on November 4, 2011 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Donella Warner, and her husband, Samuel Hadden. Janet is survived by her sisters, Fay Bushnell, Miriam Meyer and her husband, Charles, brother, Donald Warner and his wife Gail; and a host of may other family and friends.
Janet was born March 27, 1930 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Fredrick and Donella Warner. She grew in Windsor Locks, Connecticut and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Agriculture. After her marriage to Samuel Hadden, they moved to Houston, Texas in the 1960s and then later to Pearland. She was manager and then CEO of Atlas Travel until her retirement. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is with the angels now that she loved so much.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Oaks, Heart to Heart Hospice and to her wonderful caring aide Joanna Bacon from Cameo Caregivers. A Memorial service for Janet will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
