Obituary of Lydia Jennings Bullington

Lydia Jennings Bullington, 75, passed away on March 1, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Andree Jennings; and brother, Carl E. Jennings. Lydia is survived by sons, Michael William Bullington, Danny Edward Bullington and wife, Julie, Robert Farlan Bullington and fiancée, Jennifer; daughters, Leesa Marie Bullington Derr and husband, David, Carrie Lynn Show and husband, Mark; brother, Ralph Jennings and wife, Judy; grandchildren, Amy Witherspoon and husband, Ford IV, David Derr and wife, Sondra, Kevin Derr, Lilly Bullington, Danny Bullington Jr., Steven Bullington, Mark Show Jr., Sara Show, Samantha Show, Sabrina Show; great grandchildren, Ford V and Noah Witherspoon, Madison and Mark Show III; as well as a host of other family and friends. Lydia had a strong faith in God and was devoted to her Crosspoint Church family. She was always grateful to those from the church family who helped her. Lydia loved getting together with her girls for their weekly “Lady Lunches”. She looked forward to her annual summer visits to Chicago with her sons. She was especially fond of crafts, making flower arrangements and listening to all types of music. “Gram”, as she was affectionately known to her grandchildren, cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with her family. Lydia will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. The family will be receiving friends at Leesa and David’s home beginning at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. A Celebration of Lydia’s life will be held at their home as well beginning at 4:30 pm with Pastor Tom Allen of Crosspoint Church officiating.
