David Anthony Farias Jr., 31, passed away at his home in Pearland, Tx. on July 9, 2012. David was best known for his big hearted generosity, but most of all for his great sense of humor, silly antics, and practical jokes on his family and close friends. He was a very proud, ambitious and independent young man who had a wonderful personality. He was very protective of his sisters and was not only their Big Brother but also their Hero. Affectionately known as “Bubba” to his family, he will fondly be remembered for having a sweet tooth. He enjoyed watching movies, playing card and video games, traveling, and working out. David took great pride in his work and all that he did. He had a successful career in the pipeline industry working with Colonial Pipeline; and then Exxon, first as a contractor and later as an employee. He was very knowledgeable on the computer and with electronics, most of which was self-taught. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. David is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Cecil Waters and Raul Farias. He is survived by father, David Farias Sr., mother, Denise Schumann and husband, Dan Schumann; sisters, Danielle and Dawn Farias; grandmothers, Norma Waters and Carmen Farias; nephew, Joshua Corley Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family and friends. A visitation for David will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am
