Obituary of Trulia Lynette Burcham

Trulia Lynette Burcham passed away peacefully on September 3, 2008, after battling a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Tim; father, John Bryan; sons, Trey Burcham & his wife, Sophie and Jon V. Burcham; daughter, Danielle Burcham, sister, Patricia Hallock & her husband Tracy; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Trulia (Smith) Bryan. Trulia was born on March 23, 1953, in Jacksboro, Texas. She spent seven years of her childhood overseas. She attended South West Texas University where she met Tim. In 1977, they married and over the years, became the proud parents of three wonderful children. Family was always a priority to Trulia. Preparing for the holidays or just gathering for dinners created wonderful memories for everyone. Trulia & Patricia were sisters as well as good friends. She enjoyed her teaching career for 22 years at Adkinson and Meador Elementary Schools where she shaped many young minds and formed lasting friendships with the other teachers. Trulia’s varied past times included Bunko matches and home decorating. Everyone who knew Trulia will always remember her vision of the world and all around her as “lovely”. Trulia’s family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm and a Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 pm, in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel.
