Obituary of Mary C. Farrell

Mary C. Farrell, 65, passed away on August 7, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildred Wallace; and brother, James Wallace Jr. Mary is survived by her daughters, Missy Farrell, Jennifer Farrell, and Angela Rapson and husband, Eric; brothers, Robert Wallace, Christopher Wallace and wife, Carol; sisters, Rose Marie Grigar and Janie Gayton; grandchildren, Kirbie Torres, Syndi Rapson and Austin Rapson; and a host of other family and friends. Mary was a graduate of the University of Houston at Clear Lake with her bachelor and masters degree. She worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor for Pearland ISD for several years and then worked for Pasadena ISD until her retirement in 2010. Mary was always a very healthy person and enjoyed exercising, yoga and working out. She loved traveling all over the world and cherished her trips to Europe,Canada and Mexico to name a few. Mary was fondly known to her grandchildren as Nana and she looked forward to every opportunity she had to spend time with them. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Rosary and Memorial Service for Mary will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The Rosary will be recited beginning at 3:30 pm with the Memorial Service following at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s honor to the St. Jude Hospital at www.stjude.org.
