Sharon Eckhardt, a resident of Pearland, was called home by her lord on Thursday, December 28, 2006 surrounded by her loving family, after her courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Sharon was born August 20, 1951 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
Sharon is survived by a loving family; two daughters, Lisa Slater and her husband, Brian and Denise Parr and her husband, Kirk; her mother, Jeanie Freeman; granddaughter, Ella Parr; her former husband, Mike Eckhardt and his wife, Patty; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 31, 2006, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Liston, pastor of New Hope Church, officiating.
