Obituary of Paul Curtis Vaughn

Paul Curtis Vaughn, 43, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 3, 2012. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lawrence and Lucy Mattingly; grandfather, John Hagen. Paul is survived by his mother, Susanna Eppes, and her husband, Wayne; loving wife, Cindy Vaughn; brothers, John and David Vaughn; sister, Lucy Taylor Angliano; grandmother, Mary Townsend; in-laws, Edward and Lucille Klehn; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Jim Mattingly, and Vickie and Maurcy Hutchinson; and a host of other family and friends.
Paul was a man of strong faith that devoted much of his life to spreading the word of God. He enjoyed missionary work in Colorado, working with Native American Indian tribes. Paul always looked forward to spending time with his church family singing and praising God. He and Cindy loved spending time together traveling to resorts, watching Dr. Who or walking their beloved little dog, “Spanky.” Paul had a wonderful imagination and enjoyed reading and writing sci-fi stories. He had an amazing ability to turn words into vivid pictures. Paul will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation for Paul will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 am at Clayton Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Lambert of Clearpoint Church officiating. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
