Obituary of Richard Dean Hickman

Richard Dean Hickman, age 53 of Pearland, passed away in a tragic fire on October 21, 2008. He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Hickman. He is survived by his mother, Earlene Hickman; sons, Kristopher Hickman and Randy Hickman; brothers, Ron Hickman and Bart Hickman; and a host of other family and friends. Richard grew up in the Houston area and was a graduate of South Houston High School. He was known for his good sense of humor and was always there to lend a helping hand. Being a father was his greatest accomplishment and his two sons were the lights of his life. Richard was very close to his mother and she was always supportive of him through life’s trials. Visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. Ray Cox of the First Baptist Church-Pearland will be officiating.
