My Beloved Mother…..It’s been a month now since the good Lord took you home. I know you are at peace and happy to be with Dad again. I’m glad that I don’t see you cry or have to bear that pain anymore. I thought it would be easier by now to get through each day without the feeling of a great loss but it isn’t. You were my great compass in life and now I’m lost. I miss your beautiful smile and the sound of your sweet voice everyday, and I will until the day God re-unites us. I love you Mom and Dad…..with all my heart.

Mom…..Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and Dad. Holidays will never be the same. But the comfort that your family has is knowing you are in Heaven with our God and all your family and friends. No more suffering, no more tears. I miss coming over and visiting with you everyday, cooking breakfast and lunch for you and sitting outside in your backyard in the sunshine and talking for hours. I love you both so very much and I miss you dearly. God blessed us kids with the most wonderful and beautiful parents anyone could ever ask for. One day I will see you both again…..Love you Mom and Dad

I know it’s taken me awhile to write something down, but I have been thinking what would be the perfect thing to say. I heard what was said at the service and I’ve read all the nice things about Rosemary here. But, all of you that knew her know that all the comments and more couldn’t be more true about her.
So, I will simply say, “Thank You, Rosemary”!

There wasn’t anything that wasn’t Immaculate about my Mother. Her exquisite beauty, her smile, her life. She lived a long happy and fulfilled life because of her devout Catholic faith, her dedication and devotion to her family, and her cherished life with her numerous friends. She never met a person she didn’t call a friend. She followed God’s word and she put her family first. Home was important to her and she always made sure her home was a loving and warm place for her family and friends. I’ll never forget how she greeted everyone who came to her home with such a beautiful smile and warm embrace. She always had hot coffee brewing and cookies. And, oh how she loved chocolates!
I thank God for all His Angels amongst us. I’ve always believed that Angels pave the way for Saints. Sunday, December 23rd at 3:48 PM, His Angels completed paving the way for another Saint. The Angels took her soul within their wings to Heaven. My Mother. Saint Rosemary Louise.

Patty, I am very sorry to hear about your Mom. You know everyone thought she was a great person. She always tried to please everyone. I know everyone will miss her. I know when we visited her, she was always so busy trying to do things for everyone. Your Mom and Dad were really two of a kind. Dick, get rid of that cigar, Rosemary is Home.

The greatest Grandma anyone could have, while the years have carried me in different directions I’ve never forgotten all the good memories. From the 2 week vacations at her house in the summer and the trips to Toy-R-Us when I was younger, to eating lunch at Piccadilly and dinner at Casa Ole. The laughs we had on the phone during those long phone calls that we both enjoyed and looked forward to and would talk for hours on, will not be forgotten.
The world lost a great person on Dec 23rd, you will be missed.

Please accept our condolences for your loss, the world’s loss really. Mrs. Duncan was not only the grestest Mother who ever lived but she was one of the finest people we ever met. She always had a beautiful delicate smile and made it a point to ask you about you and yours. Her love for her fellow man showed in all the charity work and her personal charitable work with friends and neighbors. She was always busy, the day wasn’t long enough for Mrs. Duncan. She cared for everyone she came in contact with sitting with children and adults alike. “Can I help?” I’d here her say and she never forgot a name. Mrs. Duncan always amazed us with her quiet reserve, her great love of her family, her church and anyone who needed a helping hand. Mrs. Duncan lived an amazing life, a life to be proud of. She gave life to some amazing children and loved one wonderful man. When her time came her children made sure she was given the death she wanted in her precious home with her loved ones around her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as we honor a Great Lady, a good friend and a good and loving Family.
