Obituary of Nicholas Attardi

Nicholas Attardi, age 80 of Pearland, went to be with his Lord & Savior on October 28, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Anita; daughters, Rosemarie Wilburn & her husband, Bob and Lisa Murphy & her husband, John; son, Charles Attardi & his wife, Laura; twin sister, Nancy Marsala & her husband, Ben; grandchildren, Charissa, Nicholas, Michael, David, Sean & Melissa; and one great grandchild, Olivia. Nicholas was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 4, 1928. He spent his life in Long Island, New York before coming to the Houston area in 1987. Family was absolutely the most important aspect of Nicholas’s life. He was a self-employed truck driver and worked very hard to be a good provider to his wife and children. Nicholas proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. His grandchildren affectionately referred to him as “Grandpa”. He loved dancing, singing, and music, especially the opera. Visitation for Nicholas is on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Clayton Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 10 am in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Father Reginald Nesvadba of St. Helen Catholic Church.
