Obituary of Barbara H. Putney

Barbara H. Putney passed away Friday, September 16, 2005 at her mother’s home in Pearland surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born November 26, 1948 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. She was employed with K-Mart and served as Office Manager with 22 years of service. Barbara was also a resident of Pearland and was a member of New Hope Church in Pearland. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank F. Hogue and a step-sister, Grace Gearhart. Barbara is survived by a loving family; her beloved husband of 34 years, Daryl R. Putney; two sons, David Putney and his wife, Kimberly and Daniel Putney, residents of Pearland; her granddaughter, Lillian Putney and her grandson, Jayson Putney; brother, James F. Hogue, of Beaver, Pennsylvania; step brother-in-law, George Vernon “Vern” Gearhart, of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. A Memorial Celebration of Barbara’s Life was held Monday, September 19, 2005, at 1:00 PM, at New Hope Church, 2800 FM 1128 in Pearland, with Rev. Tim Liston officiating.
