We live down the street from Steve (on Stratford) and I just learned today from another neighbor about his passing. I am very shocked and saddened to hear of this as I never knew his name in the 7 years we have lived here but remember his friendliness and smiling face when he biked around the block with his son. He always waved and said hello and I remember him sitting on the porch and waving whenever we would pass by on walks. Please know, Amber, that you are in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do for you, don’t ever hesitate to knock on our door!

I used to live around the corner and always enjoyed seeing Steve, Alyssa, and Jacob riding bikes together. (We lived on Shakespeare with the swing in the front yard). Steve was always so kind and friendly. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Grossman family.

Amber, Terri, Bob, and Lisa – I’m so grateful for having had the opportunity to know Steve and follow his progress through life from high school, to marriage, and to becoming a wonderful father. He is gone to soon and I know this leaves a big hole in your hearts, but his spirit is still alive and if you just close your eyes, and be still, you will still feel his love and presense in your lives.
