Obituary of Rafael C. Salazar

Rafael C. Salazar, a 50 year resident of Pearland, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Petra Salazar; his loving wife of 47 years, Maria Elena Salazar; sisters, Maria Rosales, Anita Casas. Rafael is survived by his sons, Arnold Salazar (Romana), Ruben Salazar (Lupita), David Salazar (Mary Helen), Richard Salazar, Freddy Salazar, George Salazar (Margarita), Rafael Salazar Jr., Rudy Salazar; daughters, Leticia Salazar, Mary Santamaria, Ida Cardenas (Eduardo); sisters, Victoria Guajardo, Lupe Boghs; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. A Visitation for Rafael will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm by Deacon Cruz Trujillo at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
