Obituary of Michael Gene Walker

Michael Gene Walker, 55, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Gladys Walker. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Hope Walker; sons, Robert Stockman and wife, Cindi, Joshua Stockman and wife, Leah; daughter, Alicia Anzaldua and husband, Leonard; brother, Richard Walker and wife, LeRhonda; sister, Patsy Thompson and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Jacob, Priscilla and Jared Stockman, Jeremiah, Leila, Levi, and Jocelynn Stockman and Ashtin, Emma, Ayden and Leonardo Anzaldua; great granddaughter, Sophia Stockman; and a host of other family and friends. Michael worked as a Over the Road Dispatcher for many years with Transtar One. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. Michael loved the water and fishing, especially surf fishing. In his younger days, he even enjoyed going surfing. Michael will forever be remembered for his love of family and entertaining and cooking for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service for Michael will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
