Obituary of Gregory Doyle Erlanson

Gregory Doyle Erlanson, 47, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Erlanson. Greg is survived by his father, Wallace Erlanson; his loving wife of 21 years, Deana Erlanson; son, Dustin Erlanson and wife, Kristina; daughter, Victoria Crites and husband, Brandon; sister, Ginger Brown and husband, Lamar; grandchildren, Jayden, Brook and Leah Erlanson, Tristan Crites; and a host of other family and friends. Greg was a big kid at heart, loved kids and was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “PePaw.” He and Deana were together for more than 27 years and shared many wonderful memories together. Greg especially enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing or spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and had the amazing ability to lift everyone’s spirits. Greg was an excellent carpenter and had a very mechanical mind. He could fix anything from cars, to lawnmowers or weedeaters. Greg will forever be remembered for always being available to help others in need. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service for Greg will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
