Obituary of Maria Santos Mendoza

Maria Santos Mendoza, 61, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Bacilio Antonio Flores. Maria is survived by her mother, Rosa Elena Quintanilla de Flores; her loving husband of 40 years, Oscar Vidal Mendoza; son, Oscar Mendoza Jr.; daughters, Sulma, Claudia, and Yesenia Mendoza; brothers, Abilio, Rigberto and Jose Eliseo Flores; sisters, Zoila Flores and Rosa Flores Alfaro; grandchildren, Christopher Alexander Perlas and Jayden Anthony Mendoza; close family friend, Mike McClain and family; and a host of other family and friends. Maria was a very caring person that was always available to help others in need. She loved to cook for her family and friends and cherished every opportunity to she had to spend time with her family. Maria loved staying in contact with family whether they were across the country or back home in El Salvador. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Visitation and Rosary for Maria will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral homes with Father Charles Borski officiating.
