Jeremiah Jerome Tanner, 25, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013. He is survived by his mother, Gerdie Tanner; his loving wife of four years, Kimberly M. Tanner; son, Patrick D. Tanner; daughter, Ka’Lynn D. Tanner; mother-in-law Linda (Kenneth) Gilmore, godson, Elijah Jean Jones; brothers, Eric Tanner, Jeremy Broadnax, Brandon Broadnax, a host of other brothers on his father’s side; sisters, Leslie (Chad) Arvie, Canitria (Michael) Mondy and one sister from his father’s side; cousin Jaimie Jones; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nephews, family and friends.
Jeremiah was a graduate of Westlake High School where he was a star athlete on the football team. He loved life, was an extremely hard worker and an excellent provider for his family. Jeremiah loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles and crawfish. He was very family oriented and loved and cared for his family very much. His family nicknamed him “Sneak”. Jeremiah never met a stranger and always enjoyed talking with people and helping others. He will forever be remembered for his motto of “the sky is the limit,” and had the most beautiful smile. Jeremiah will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him, especially his wife and children.
A visitation and funeral service for Jeremiah will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Delcolm Hypolitt officiating. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.
