RALFORD BRANSON "RALPH" RIGGLE, a resident of Pearland, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the age of 77 years. Ralph was born July 7, 1929 in Aleppo, Pennsylvania to the late Wayne and Geraldine Whipkey Riggle.
Ralph owned and operated Action Masonry before retiring. He was a member of Bricklayers Local # 7. Ralph proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post # 7109, Pearland.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and by his uncle and aunt, Carl and Genevieve White. He is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife of 47 years, Metta McPherson Riggle; two children, Carol Parsley and husband Dennis, of Mauriceville, Texas and James Riggle and wife Tammy, of Sparta, Tennessee; four brothers and four sisters; three grandchildren, Seth and Nathan Landolt and Tyler Riggle; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland. A celebration of Ralph's life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Mr. Carol Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Houston.
