Obituary of Domingo Castillo Banda

Domingo Castillo Banda, 70, of Fresno, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Guadalupe Banda. Domingo is survived by his sons, Domingo Banda Jr., and Alex Gonzales; step-sons, Ricardo and Raul Castillo; daughters, Lollie Duron and husband, Juan, Griselda Myra Escobar and husband, Edward, Vilma Castillo and husband, Tomas, Vanessa Romero and husband, Herman; brothers, Luis Banda and wife, Alma, Magdaleno Banda and wife, Rosa, Julio Banda and wife, Armandina; sister, Herminia Salina and husband, Arnulfo; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Domingo was a hardworking business owner that had a successful business for over 20 years. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family. Domingo enjoyed traveling and looked forward to his trips back to Monterrey, Mexico to visit family and friends. He was very generous and always available to help others in need. Domingo was a man of great faith and happily assisted with projects at his church. He will be forever remembered for his ability to make friends everywhere he went. Domingo will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation and funeral service for Domingo will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Sandy Williams officiating. There will be a graveside ceremony on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
