Obituary of Jerry Mason Glenn

Jerry Mason Glenn, 84 of Pearland, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Glenn; and brother, Kenneth Douglas Glenn. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Corinne Glenn; son, Lonnie Mason Glenn; daughter, Melinda Sue Dominy and husband, Alan; grandsons, Glenn Alan Dominy and wife, Heather, Chad Alan Dominy and wife, Megan; great grandchildren, Ayden, Mason, Reid, Grace and Jude Dominy; and a host of other family and friends. Jerry was a proud veteran that served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for over 42 years with United Gas/Centerpoint Energy before retiring in 1987. After retiring, Jerry and Corinne traveled extensively all over the world completing 44 cruises. Their most recent trip was a 15 day relaxing cruise through the Hawaiian Islands. Jerry was very active in his Jeff Davis High School Alumni Association. He and Corinne enjoyed an active life at Country Place for 19 years where they made many wonderful friends. Jerry was a 33 Degree Master Mason for over 63 years and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Jerry will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church at E. Jasmine St., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Rev. Dr. Bob Joiner officiating.
