Obituary of Brenda Sue Cobbs

Brenda Sue Cobbs, 51, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Prentice “Ralph” Parker; and sister, Mary King. Brenda is survived by her mother, Joyce Parker; her loving husband of 28 years, David Cobbs; daughters, Meaghan and Shelby Cobbs; brother, Sonny Parker and wife, Cynde; sisters, Debbie Tyler, and husband, Steve, Phyllis Dixon and husband, Randy, Marilyn Everington and husband, Charlie; and a host of other family and friends. Brenda had a very easy-going nature and cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching football and Friday Night Lights. Brenda loved relaxing outside on her swing or taking walks along the beach. She was an avid animal lover and adored her granddogs Copper and Millie. Brenda will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Brenda will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Cervantes officiating.
