Nina,
We never met but know that Bob never made bad choices.
Bob and I were roommates in St. Joseph, MO in the late 60's. He worked for General Foods and Maxwell House coffee at that time. We enjoyed LIFE.
Have been trying to locate Bob and today found him and found out about his passing. Nina, I am so sorry for your loss. Just wish we could have all met one more time to celebrate life.
If ever around in Atlanta,GA area ( I live in Gainesville,GA) please call me at 770-532-4546.
Take care Nina knowing Bob is having all sunny days where he is.
Sincerely,
Stan Appleton

As a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda, Lambda chapter, at KSTC, Bob was a leader. Many times I remember having great discussions with him. He will be missed by his immediate family as well as those who knew him in his collegiate and professional years.

I also knew Bob while at Kansas State Teacher College. I was a Sophomore when Bob was a Senior and President of our fraternity. Even back then, he was an outstanding leader. I will miss him on Facebook where he often made positive comments to my posts, which reinforced my view of him as a wonderful human being with a very kind heart. I will miss him.

I was very sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. Bob was a senior and I was a freshman at Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia, Kansas, in 1964. We were also fraternity brothers. Bob was a solid guy and highly respected by all of us. He was exactly the kind of guy anyone would be proud to call a brother. My sympathies to Nina and all his family.
