Obituary of Robert Earl Stouffer

Robert Earl Stouffer went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on December 30, 1941 in Topeka, KS to Earl and Bernice Stouffer. He graduated from Emporia State College and spent his entire career in sales. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On April 22, 2012, he married the love of his life, Nina Tran and they enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling. Bob was an active member of the Christian Businessmen’s Movement and mentored many young men. Bob also served as a Deacon at Second Baptist Church. He was a gifted golfer with a great swing. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sheryl Ann Schmidt. He is survived by his devoted wife Nina and her children and grandchildren, his brother Bernie and wife Patricia, niece Janel Schmidt, and nephew Jeff Schmidt and wife Megan. Bob was a man of integrity and was loved by his family and many friends. A visitation for Bob will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The Memorial Service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with a reception to follow
