Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Price

Cheryl Lynn Price, 58, of Onalaska, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Brown Sr.; infant brother, Cone Richard Brown. Cheryl is survived by her son, Shane Holster and wife, Tiffany; daughters, Alecia LaSalle and husband, A.C., Shelly Morton; brothers, Jimmy Brown and wife, Linda, Conrad Brown and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Chase Calhoun, Aidan, Ava, Aubrey and Amelya LaSalle, Harlie Holster; and a host of other family and friends. Cheryl worked for many years as a Logistics Coordinator for Dow Chemical before retiring. She had an adventurous spirit and wanted to travel and join the Peace Corps. Cheryl was a very giving and caring person that was always available to help friends and family in need. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed going to the beach. Cheryl was affectionately known as “G Ma” to her grandkids and always looked forward to cooking and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cheryl’s honor to the United Way or to the charity of your choice. The family will be receiving friends at 2:00 pm and a memorial service for Cheryl will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
