It is often impossible to find language that perfectly captures a person’s life and spirit. When facing this challenge, it is often the simplest words that fit where others will not. Kathy was a loving mother and a caring person. She was honest, earnest, and dedicated to her job. Working at United Rentals for over 16 years, Kathy proved her toughness and determination in a man’s world with grace and dignity. She was an extremely sharp judge of character, and made sure her children’s friends were held to the same standards she held for herself and her family. Her home was the focal point for all holidays and get-togethers. Christmas was an especially bright occasion, and her love and cheer brought joy to all family and friends in attendance. Kathy greatly enjoyed the outdoors and would share this love of nature with her family, often taking long vacations to spend time with her children. She was a selfless, giving person throughout her life, but made sure both her birthday and Mother’s Day were never forgot! Kathy made a lasting impact in the lives of those who knew and loved her, and will be remembered and missed for all she has done. A Memorial Service for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
