Obituary of Gabino T. Puno

Gabino T. Puno, 74, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio and Juana Puno; son, Christopher Puno; and brothers, Vicente and Armando Puno. Gabino is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Puno; sons, Jonathan Puno, Ferdinand Puno, Gabino Puno Jr., and Dominique Puno; daughters, Geraldine Delos Santos, Katherine Daquinag; brothers, Bonifacio, Ruben and Ricardo Puno; eighteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Gabino or “Daddy Bing” as he was affectionately known was an excellent provider and role model for his family. He was strong in his Christian faith and found great comfort in Don Moen worship songs. Gabino enjoyed sharing his faith with others and taught Sunday school for many years. He loved playing his harmonica, watching old western movies and his many sports. Gabino was a big Manny Pacquiao and Lakers fan and enjoyed a good tennis match. After retirement, Gabino moved to the United States to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation and service for Gabino will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The visitation will begin at 5:00 pm and the service will follow beginning at 6:00 pm.
