Obituary of Max Myron Killian

Max Myron Killian, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jesse Killian; three brothers and four sisters. Max is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maria Killian; sons, Michael Killian and wife, Betty, Oscar Killian and wife, Amy; daughters, Lisa Miller and husband, David, and Angela Abner; grandchildren, Juan, Austin, Jade, Julia, Sterling and Chandler; great grandchildren, McKynlee and Gavin; and a host of other family and friends.
Max was truly a family man that loved and cared for his wife and family. He was an excellent provider, a self-made man and always put the needs of his family before himself. Max was a machinist by trade and could make or fix just about anything. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors with his family. Affectionately known as “Pa Pa” to his grandchildren, Max will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation and rosary for Max will be held on Monday evening, March 31, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm with the rosary recited at 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father James Courville officiating.
