Obituary of Diane A. Sloan

Diane A. Sloan, 57, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Acree. Diane is survived by her father, Charles Acree; her loving husband of 30 years, Doyle Sloan; son, Joshua Sloan; daughters, Carrie Gallagher and husband, Dale, Sherry Donaldson and husband, Randy; brother, Jeff Acree and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Shelbie Donaldson, Victoria and Carter Cowman; her beloved dog, “Halo”; and a host of other family and friends. Diane enjoyed camping and the great outdoors. She loved to go fishing with Doyle as long as he would bait the hook for her. Diane had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. She loved all sports and was a huge fan of her Houston Astros. Diane cherished spending time with her family and always looked forward to gatherings at “Gringo’s.” She was a big animal lover and enjoyed watching old “TV shows.” Diane will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Diane will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 am and the funeral will follow beginning at 10:00 am with Reverend Dr. Brian Gigee officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
