Obituary of Elizabeth Hatsfelt Farrar

Elizabeth Hatsfelt Farrar, 69, of Pearland, Texas, earned her angel wings Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Nassau Bay, Texas. She was born July 27, 1944, in Oakdale, Louisiana to Vernon and Eugenia Hatsfelt, now deceased. Elizabeth graduated from Oakdale High School in Oakdale, Louisiana. She married James Paul Farrar Sr. in 1967 and they travelled the world and lived in many other countries until his retirement from the United States Army in 1977. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, children and 4 grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, James Paul Farrar Sr. of Pearland, Texas; three children, Cassaundra Nichols and her husband Guy a Nichols of Santa Fe, Texas, James Paul Farrar Jr. of Pearland, Texas, and Ronald Vernon Farrar of Onalaska, Texas; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Elizabeth Cole, Kenneth Woodrow Nichols, Dixie Lee Nichols and Carolyn Jeanette Nichols; five sisters, Billie and Elroy Ray of Oakdale, Louisiana, Bobbie and Morteza Vaziri of Oakdale, Louisiana, Kathy and Ricky Jordan of Oakdale, Louisiana, Donna and Steve Parrott of Oakdale, Louisiana and Linda and Roderick Ryder of Oberlin, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Hatsfelt (wife Annette) of Oakdale, Louisiana, and sister, Verna Kay Disatell (husband Rick) of Oakdale, Louisiana. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 4:00 pm at White Oaks Funeral Home, 110 S. 12th in Oakdale, Louisiana with the Reverend Jim Wyche officiating.
