Peggy Ann Singleton McGee, the life of the party, friend to all, and beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully August 14, 2006 after a ten-month battle with bi-lateral diaphragmatic paralysis. Peggy was born March 22, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clarence and Marie (Smith) Singleton. She attended White Oak High School and Rutherford Business College. Peggy traveled the country as a sales representative of customized embroidered emblems and law enforcement badges. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lary and Stephanie McGee; her son, Gary McGee; her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Bendel Rushing; her grandchildren Chrissy, Jamie, Katie, Garrett, Jordan, Benny, Bryson and Austin; along with numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands. Peggy reared her children in Mesquite and retired to Waco in 1992 where she made the most of her retirement years. She spent her time volunteering throughout the Waco area, exercising and playing bridge and dominoes with dear friends at the Harrison Center. She loved going to the beach and to the movies; traveling; babysitting her great-grandchildren; and keeping up with her grandson, Garret, while he attended MCC. Peggy was a fun-loving, free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, located at 30th and Waco Dr. in Waco, TX on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Jeff Fisher will officiate. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 4118 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX at 4:00 p.m. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Susan G.
