Obituary of Andy Sanders

Andrew Edward “Andy” Sanders, a resident of Rosharon, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the age of 68 years. Andy was born August 17, 1937 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Edward and Beatrice (Heath) Sanders. A former resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Andy proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He worked in the glass industry for over 50 years, and most recently was general manager of McCauley Glass Co. of Pearland. Andy is survived by a loving family; his wife, Christine; three sons, Eddie Sanders and wife, Mitzi, of Long Beach, Washington, Sandy Sanders and wife, Nancy, of Pleasantview, Tennessee and Cannon Sanders and wife, Bessie, of Ashland, Tennessee; two daughters, Margaret Love and husband, John, of Memphis, Tennessee and Valerie Bolster, of Cottontown, Tennessee; three brothers, James Sanders and wife, Donna, of Ripley, Tennessee, Franklin Sanders and wife, Hilda, of Halls, Tennessee and Joseph Sanders, of Halls, Tennessee; four sisters, Virgie Howard and husband, R.C., of Ripley, Tennessee, Mable Mueller and husband, Mike, of Covington, Tennessee, Yvonne Kirby and husband, Archie, of Ripley, Tennessee and Darlene Womack, of Ripley, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday, May 26, 2006 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Theo Charles, officiating. Entombment will follow at South Park Cemetery, in Pearland. Those serving as pallbearers are; Tommy Watson, Mike Mueller, John Love, Patrick Descant, Bob Garza and Archie Kirby.
