Obituary of Marsha Farmer

Marsha Farmer, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2008 in her home in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Waller O. Hunt and mother, Kathleen Cole. She is survived by her son, Bryan Nelson & his wife Janae; sister, Sharon Schickle; grandchildren, Chelsi & Collyn Nelson; and a host of other family & friends. Marsha was born on January 1, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky. She lived in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to the Houston area in 1974. Marsha loved her family and friends and had an open door policy to them and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved cooking and being a grandmother and enjoyed any time spent with her grandkids. Marsha was a very determined person with strong convictions who always stood up for what she believed was right. She loved animals especially her three dogs Sinder, Hambone, and Autumn. Visitation for Marsha will be held on Saturday, January, 3, 2009, at 2:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel. immediately followed by a Celebration of Marsha’s Life at 3:00 pm. Pastor Jeff Chernosky will be officiating.
