Obituary of Cleo Deroy Youree

Cleo Deroy “C.D.” Youree, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Marjorie Youree; wife, Barbara Youree; son, Lonnie Youree; sister, Lonna Lou; and grandchild, Kelly.  C.D. is survived by stepdaughters, Brenda Ann Bolster, Shannon Kelly Ferguson and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Deno, Morgan, Mikel and Matthew; and a host of other family and dear friends.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved animals and little kids. C.D. found joy in agitating people or “stirring the pot”. In his spare time, he would watch “Gunsmoke” and other old westerns and played poker any chance he could. He wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything.  C.D. worked in Florida at Cape Canaveral for NASA and on missile silos in North Dakota. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation for C.D. will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  Graveside services will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Walters City Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma.
