Obituary of Robert Wayne Morrow

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Robert Wayne Morrow, 67 of Pearland, moved on to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Morrow; son Travis and wife Kristyn Morrow; son Cole and wife Autumn Morrow; daughter Kourtney and husband Justin Uhyrek; daughter Kaylyn Sellers; daughter Karoline Sellers and fiancé Martin Kraechan; grandchildren Kailyn Simmons, Eli Morrow, Lucas Uhyrek, Madalynn Uhyrek, Tucker Morrow, Weston Morrow, and McKenna Morrow.

Robert was born on February 5, 1956, in Shreveport, Louisiana. As a child he grew up in the Dallas, Texas area and had family in Corpus Christi, Texas and Houston, Texas. Robert was affectionately known as "Bob" to some and "Bobbe" to family members.

As a young child he was a cub scout and his mother, Ramona was a troop leader. He played football and baseball throughout elementary and high school. His mother was his biggest fan.

His father, Bob Morrow, taught him about hunting and fishing, which he enjoyed throughout his lifetime. He created a bond with his children as they went hunting and fishing together. His hopes were to create a family tradition that would be passed on to their children.

Outside of being a husband, father, and "Pops" to his grandchildren, he was quite the handyman. He spent many hours in the garage building and rebuilding things while his collection of music entertained the neighbors. Many sought his "words of wisdom." Robert loved being a grandfather and it warmed his heart when he heard them call, "Pops" in the garage.

There were many other hobbies he enjoyed which included model boat racing, target practice at the range, shopping for tropical items for Karen, and sampling her creations in their kitchen. His favorite was her chocolate cake with milk chocolate buttercream icing.

Robert's working career included Texas American Title, Kroger's and AkzoNobel. He had hoped to one day retire but worked until the Lord called him home instead. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

For all the kindness you have shown,

We thank you very much.

For sympathy in sorrowing days,

For friendship's healing touch.

With gratitude our hearts are full,

Though words cannot convey.

The tender thoughts and thankfulness

We hold for your today.

The Shepherd Psalm

Psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
