View Tribute Book Richard Alan Tilley, Jr., 62, of La Porte, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1962, to Richard Tilley, Sr. and the late Gwendolyn Tilley.Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A hardworking millwright, he spent many years in the plant industry and also served his community as a volunteer with the local EMS and Fire Department.He loved motorcycles, monster trucks, drag races, classic cars and baseball—especially cheering on his beloved Houston Astros. Above all, Richard treasured his time with family and lived a life full of love, loyalty, and laughter.He is survived by his wife, Samantha Tilley; his father, Richard Tilley, Sr.; his sons, Ryan Tilley (Virginia) and Ryder Tilley; stepson, Zach Hillis; grandchildren, Regan, Caiden, and Georgia; and his sister, Joy Birk (Richie), along with numerous nieces and nephews.Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Tilley.Celebration of Life:October 25, 20253:00 p.m.Eagle Lodge803 S 8th StLa Porte, Texas 77571The family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join in honoring his memory.
