I was trying to get in touch with you to check on you & googled Thomas Foster Still. I never dreamed your obituary would be the first thing I saw. I never got to say a "final goodbye" till right now. I asked Dad a few months back if he could talk to anybody in the world, who would it be? He replied, you really wanna know? I said sure I do, & it was YOU! He said he was so proud that you gave your heart to Christ and we got to witness your profession of faith. What a sweet day that was & I'm truly thankful and blessed you were in our lives for the time you were. You were not with me or my family physically all the time, but never left our hearts. This is my day to mourn the fact I can't say hi and let you know I was thinking of you and being able to make sure you were still knocking the cover off that golf ball and making people smile if only for a moment..... When you left Louisiana, you left it all behind, huh? I must have dialed your cell number a thousand times in hopes you'd answer....Dad did too, but no answer. We finally assumed you had a new number and never thought you had already been called home...You are now in your resting place, walking the beautiful fairways in heaven and every ball you hit is perfect...You get to walk with Jesus at your side with perfect legs with beautiful rivers and streams full of fish and hang out with your mom & dad & the friends that went before you and oh how lucky they are to have you. Till I see you again, rest knowing you left a imprint in my heart that will always be there full of the precious times, tender times, and I'll hold them in my heart forever.
