I was unable to attend Deborah's service but I wanted to express my condolences. The thing I remember about Deborah was her laugh. I knew her from the HCCAC and have not seen her since she left. It was a surprise to here of her passing.

I had the opportunity to get to know and work with Deborah in the very infancy of both the Advocacy Center and CASA. Deborah was a sincere and genuine advocate for children. She has left a legacy for so many. I am honored to have known her. Ida Smith

So sorry to hear of the loss of our cousin, Debbie. My sisters, Judy, Tammy and I, and their families, will be thinking of you all this Saturday as her memorial service is held. I pray Uncle Jim, Jimmy and Cheryl are comforted in the weeks and months ahead as they remember that Debbie's suffering is over and her legacy will live on in the Hill Country Children's Advocacy Ctr and the numerous lives she touched, both personally and professionally. In addition to the flowers we are sending, I have made a donation to the Advocacy Ctr in Debbie's memory. Love you all!

Words cannot describe what a wonderful lady you are in my eyes. You were always kind to those around you. You always cared for your fellow man, and all the stray cats on the south side of the Llano River. The funny dogs you had that only a dog mother could love. The books you always shared, and I will always cherish my time working with you, being your neighbor and friend.
Rest in Peace sweet lady!
