Obituary of John Albert Booth

John Albert Booth, 70, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cline Herman and Olga Booth; and sister, Audrey Craig. John is survived by his former wife, Lois Booth; daughters, Kimberly Garner and husband, Jake, Amy Looby and husband, Jim; sisters, Barbara Welch and Betty Lunceford; grandchildren, Madison and Max Garner, James and Caleb Looby; and a host of other family and friends.
John was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Navy. He had a successful career with Monsanto until his retirement. John will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s honor to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org. A graveside service for John will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:15 am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 with Pastor Jim Looby officiating.
