David Alencastro, 46, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. He is preceded in death by his abuela, Loreta Meza. David is survived by his father, Mariano Alencastro; mother, Enriqueta Guzman; brothers, Sal Alencastro and wife, Ashley, Victor Alencastro and wife, Menal; sister, Martha Alencastro and boyfriend, Roel Sanchez; best friend, Jorge Chavez; aunt and uncle, Rafael and Guadalupe Guzman; nieces and nephews, Alejandra Escarcega and boyfriend, Steven, Hannah, Sebastian and Emma Alencastro; and a host of other family and friends.
David was an entrepreneur at heart, owning his own tax business and self-proclaimed real estate tycoon. He was full of knowledge and was always yearning to read and learn new things. David’s knowledge of accounting, finance and taxation was unsurpassed. He was extremely generous and kind. David loved to help others and wanted everyone around him to be happy and successful. He loved to travel and visited Egypt, Canada, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Australia, Spain, Mexico and Greece. David’s favorite places to visit in the States were Washington D.C. and either wine tasting in California or walking on the white, sandy beaches of Florida. He loved his family dearly and often times took many of these trips with his mom. Some of his favorite pastime however were family BBQs on the weekends with a Heineken and spoiling his nieces and nephews. David will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
