I worked with Shirley in the Space Shuttle Program for a number of years' We were selected to work the first launch at KSC. We had to work hard but we felt so privileged to be of some assistance to see that all of the guests were taken to the particular hotels. We had fun doing all of this but it was mind boggling. I considered her a friend throughout our working relationship. She was kind and very dedicated to her job. May God bless her family for I am sure they will miss this kind and thoughtful person. It was a privilege to know her.
