I just learned of Guy's passing.
I was Mayor Pro-tem of Dalworthington Gardens for most of the time that Guy worked for the city.
As a citizen and city official I am forever indebted to Guy for his loyal and hard work
on our behalf.
He always went above and beyond the call of duty...even serving as volunteer
firefighter at a critical time when we really needed him.
And...so many stories...so many laughs (especially preparing for our annual
holiday award dinners--some which can even be shared...ha).
He was a wonderful person and fun to be around.
We were blessed to have him as an employee and friend.
I regret that I kind of lost contact with him when I left my official city office and did
not have reason to be at City Hall...but I will always remember him very fondly
and with a smile at the mention of his name.
I know the city still benefits from his efforts on our behalf.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Condolences to family and all the loved ones. I met Guy while shopping at the Volunteer Center of North Texas Donated Good Store. The way his stories and good heart lighted that warehouse/store really made us all feel at home. We (at the time working for Trinity Habitat) loved to go there every Wednesday and visit for a couple of hours. Guy has a charisma that will chat it up with anyone and everyone. My Mother would even make tamales and make sure Guy got his share (spicy green chile chicken). We will miss his smiling and joking self but know he is in a better place. To his children...please know that we will forever hold your father and your family in our prayers. Much love goes to you as we all remember him.

Guy--Brother for life, always generous in time and spirit, the life of the family gatherings, gone before your time. Your passing leaves a great void, but we will always have the memories of the good times.
Remembering you with love, Gene and Cheryl

I am truly sorry to hear of Guy's passing. I have many good memories of being with Guy both here in Mass. and in Texas. I knew Guy from the Franks Sea Grill days which was quite a while ago. I remember him working in the kitchen there making pizzas. I don't think I ever saw a round pizza come out of that kitchen the whole time he was there. We also roomed together in Grand Prairie back in the late 70's. Always laughing and smiling. Some good times. RIP my friend.

I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with Guy at Volunteer Now. I hadn't seen or visited with him for a couple of years but he was a light in my life when I knew him. He had such a huge personality you couldn't get passed him without him speaking to you and each of my family members will always remember him with a laugh and a smile. He had a great, big, special heart and the world is a darker and lonelier place without him here.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I considered Guy a true friend and part of our family. His personality was one of a kind. He could make a whole group of people laugh so hard that everyone would have tears rolling down their faces. He was a simply man who dearly loved his family. A kind, honest and loving man who would do anything for a friend. Guy was loved by many and will be truly missed.
