Obituary of Efrain Gonzalez

Efrain Gonzalez, 47, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. He is survived by his parents, Roberto and Carmen Gonzalez; his loving wife of over 30 years, Marissa Garcia Gonzalez; daughters, Angelica Ramirez and husband, Carlos and Kristal Gonzalez; brothers, Juan Gonzalez and wife, Ana, Robert Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Bertha, Ricardo Gonzalez and wife, Miriam, David Gonzalez and wife, Alma; sister, Cindy Castillo and husband, Israel; grandchildren, Matthew Hunt, Aaron Ramirez, Nicholas Ramirez; and a host of many family and friends. Efrain was a very hard working man and always provided for his family. He was always there to help his family with any special projects, and he was always ready and planning the next family get together. He was a kind and gentle man who never raised his voice to anyone. Efrain had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed sharing a good joke or story to make you laugh. He was affectionately known as “Papa” to his grandkids and he called them his little “Mijitos” and they brought great joy to his life. Efrain started his walk with God at the age of 16 and he was a man of strong faith throughout his life. His life was a great example to everyone on how to live your life serving others through his leadership in the church. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Services for Efrain will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Chapel Service will take place Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, Texas 77581.
