Obituary of Doris Genette Dye

Family Gathering Wednesday, Nov 15, 2017 2:00 PM Doris Genette Dye May 10, 1926 - November 10, 2017 Mrs. Doris Van Horn Ramus Dye 91, entered into enteral rest on November 10th, 2017. She was the eldest daughter of the late George Luther & Vera Mae Van Horn of Tichnor Ark. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved going to church and reading her bible. Doris worked in the food service industry and retired from Denny’s. She could put a meal on the table you would not forget and loved doing it. Doris was our Angel when she passed she finally got her wings. She was preceded in death by her son PFC Franklin M. Ramus a medic in the 82nd Airborne and Edna Ramus Bryum Means a LVN and two brothers Winford Van Horn and Earl Mason. Doris is survived by Kelly J Ramus of Texas, Deloris Beason of Texas, William H Ramus of Calfornia. Sister Virginia Place of Gillett Arkansas, and two Brothers Virgil Van Horn of Dewitt Ark and Ragie Van Horn of Gillett Ark and Sister in Law Norman Jean Van Horn. Doris had 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held to Honor Doris Dye November 15, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Paul U. Lee Chapel Funeral Home. Burial at a later time in Gillett Ark
