Obituary of David Moore

David Moore February 11, 1950 - October 15, 2011 Brother David Moore was born February 11th, 1950 to daily Moore, Sr. and Katie Mae Webb Moore in Minden, Louisiana. He attended Central Consolidated School in Dubberly, Louisiana. He was among the graduating class of 1968. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Dubberly where the Reverend O.F. Pierce was his pastor. He was employed by the La Porte Independent School Distrct where he worked for over 20 years in the Maintenance Department. Brother David was called home on Saturday, October 15th, 2011. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife Nancy Harrison-Moore of La Porte, Texas, four children, two sons, Dennison Kelly, SR. (Dorothy) of Shreveport, Louisiana and David Flournoy, SR. of Haughton, Louisiana, two daughters, Kasey Jones and Traci Moore of La Porte, Texas; three brothers, Roosevelt Moore, SR. (Barbara) of Dubberly, Louisiana, Willie D. Moore (Annie Faye) and Daily Moore, JR. (Zelma) of Minden, Louisiana; two sisters, Kathlene Moore Smith of Sibley, Louisiana and Mattie Banks of Dubberly, Louisiana. Nine grandchildren Payton Moore, Have Godfrey, Dennison Kelly, JR., Ta’Keria Kelly, LaDavion Combs, David Flournoy, JR., Kiara and Cara Thompson, Destiny Franklin and host of nieces and nephews and an endless number of extended family and friends.
