Funeral Service Friday, Mar 16, 2018 11:00 AM Santos Rios April 25, 1942 - March 12, 2018 Santos T. Rios, 75 passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born on April 25, 1942 in Alice, Texas to Santos and Oralia Rios. He was married to Gloria Canales of Alice Texas for 41 years before her passing. Santos moved his family to LaPorte Texas and worked in the Houston area as a carpenter in the construction business for many years. He looked forward to family celebrations and enjoyed sharing funny stories or old family memories. He was also very proud of his children and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His past time was watching old and new movies as applying his carpentry skills at home. Santos always gave a helping hand to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, His loving wife Gloria, and his son Edwardo. He is survived by his daughter Irene Rios, his sons Ruben and wife Diane, Adrian and wife Deana and his daughter in law Lupita Rios. Sisters Benita Sepulveda; Brothers Juan Antonio and wife Chana Rios, David and wife Nora Rio, Marcos and wife Linda Rios, Jaime Rios, and Victor and wife Rosa Rios all of Alice Texas. He is survived by his grandchildren Ruben and wife Tiffany Rios, Anthony and wife Jennifer Rios, Amanda Vallado, Ruby and husband Kevin Rodriguez, Edwardo Rios Jr, Darian Rios, Adrian Rios Jr. Great Grandchildren Ryland, Kalen, and soon to be Carter. In Laws Adan and Paula Canales, Fermin and Angie Canales, Israel and Delia Canales, and Sylvia Applegate as well as nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be on March 15, 2018 at 4:00 and Rosary at 7:00pm at the Paul U Lee Funeral Home. The service will be March 16, 2018 at the St. Mary Catholic Church with mass at 11:00am
