Barbara Jeanette Rohde December 01, 1940 - March 11, 2009 Barbara Jeanette Rohde, 68, of La Porte passed away Wednesday March 11, 2009. She was born December 17, 1940 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Helen and Allen Swoyer. She is preceded in death by her husband James Rohde. Barbara is survived children Bill Williams and wife Robyn of La Porte, TX, Wanda Hantz and husband Robbie of La Porte, TX, Theresa Gough and husband Bill of Dillwyn, VA, Toni Lusk of Amherst, VA, Jackie Steward and husband Mark of La Porte, sister Carrie Naomi Turner of Monroe, VA, grandchildren Billy Williams, Lauren Cloud, Ryan Williams, Brett Williams, Brynn Williams, Clyde Fravel, Tracey Nutt, Zachary Barry, Rachel Allen, Jessica Lusk, Kelly Gough, Savannah Gough, Harley Gough, Leandra Lusk, Jacob DeJarnette, Lacey Steward, Garrett Steward, great grandchildren Addison, A.J., Tommy, Kairi, Kendalynn, Brayden, Presten, and many loved nieces and nephews in Virginia. Visitation will be held Saturday March 14, 2009 at 6- 8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday March 15, 2009 at 2 PM the funeral home.
