Obituary of Lee James McKibbin

Lee James McKibbin, age 48, passed away on December 31, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; two sons, Wesley and Ryan; his mother, Gladys; two brothers, Steven and Dennis McKibbin; and one grandchild, Hayden Marie McKibbin. He is preceded in death by his father, John McKibbin. Lee and Lisa made their home in Pearland for over 17 years. He was originally from Richmond, Texas. He was a true family man and always made sure he was there for Lisa and his sons. He loved coaching his sons in Little League and watching Ryan play hockey. He enjoyed being Pops to his Peanut. One of Lee’s favorite past times was fishing. He adored his dogs, Sam and Red. Lee was a strong and courageous man through his battle with juvenile diabetes. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 3, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, 281-485-4446. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008, at 2:00 PM in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Concorde Cemetery in Mineola, Texas.
